As a musician reading iPad music, I need somethig simple that will turn the page forward (click) and backward (double click) while my hands are busy performing.
Flic is wonderful for saxophone players. All my scores are in PDF format. I use goodreader app to read them. Once the app in lock mode, the page can be turned by Flic after adding an action as iBooks.
Just attach Flic to the saxophone, you can press by your thumb easily.
It already works in the way you have described. In the Flic app you have to choose "Phone Control > iBooks" and add it. Then the page turning works with ForeScore too. If the item "iBooks" is not shown you have an old Flic button. This happens to me. Ask the support to send you a new one. They were very friendly. A week later I got a new button and now I am happy.

I also use forScore that only supports some kind of Bluetooth pedals. I can't use foot to turn page while I play organ pedals... I think to put one flic under a finger and press it with thumb.
ForScore support will be very appreciated but I think that flic app could throw an event such as right or left swipe to the current app (i.e. ForScore) and cause indirectly a page turn. Is it possible?
Yes! For instance, using the (very popular) ForScore app, a Flic would be much better for turning the page. The market has been completely focused on pedal switches, but a Flic would be a game changer for many musicians who only have a thumb or finger free.
This is exactly what I was thinking of when I found out about flic!
Flic would be much more handy than the existing pedals on the market.
