Use several Flics to start voice recognition in the house, to avoid privacy issues with 'always listening'
Whole home voice recognition in the house has always been high on my list, but offline voice recognition engines aren't that accurate.
Google Now has great accuracy, but for privacy reasons, I don't want the always listening approach (just look at the Samsung debacle).
Now I could use an old Android phone, connected via Wi-Fi, to take care of these voice requests by placing these buttons in key locations, out of sight (next to the couch & bed, under table, etc.), and link to my home automation via IFTTT, Tasker and other home automation services I'm running.
This idea excites me the most!
