1 press: 3 minute timer. Ever want to make the perfect poached egg? 3 minutes, done. Tired of bitter tea? Set a timer for 3 minutes so you don't over-steep. Ever put something back in the oven, just for a few more minutes, and come back to the oven 20 minutes later only because it was billowing smoke and your fire alarm was going off (yeah... Me neither...). Subsequent single presses will keep add additional minutes
Double Press: Start 10 minute timer / Add 10 minutes. Perfect home made cookies, every time. Also, it happens to be the average time it takes for an oven to preheat, so you exactly when you oven is ready for those bad boys.
Long press: If there is no timer, activate Siri, for those times your fingers are covered in brownie mix and your phone is in your pocket. We've all been there. Otherwise, if there is a timer, cancel it
Check out the “Egg Clock” feature on the Flic app! :)
It is incredibly frustrating that this isn't the already intended functionality of "Timer" on the iOS app. Having a quick 25 minute countdown timer on a button press would make my Pomodoro-ing at work much simpler
Yes this is needed but would be good if we could set timer in the app for how long it should be.
any news on this one? iOS? please!

i think it will be the best when you can select the time for your self.
for example 1 click is one minute oder maybe 6 minutes.
So it is practical for everyone.
Sorry for my bad english
I Need this as well! Please post when this is ready!
agree, this is a must, a simple countdown. you even mention a timer function on your webpage: "It's a pain to time yourself during a workout, use Flic to turn your timer on and off." it's a pain to own a flic that cannot kick a timer. thanks guys.
i really really need this! its essential. c'mon, please please!
I bought Flics mainly for this function and it is not available!!!
Perfect idea with the +3 min per press (should be adustable of course!)
I love the whole concept!
Please get it out. Thanks!
10 minutes is also the amount of time it takes the chocolates on the production belt to reach the packing station (think I Love Lucy) I'd like to hit the button to activate the timer when I start to load so the chocolates don't fall off the end of the belt. The ability to ask Siri to time out different candy making operations would keep my iPhone timer from getting covered in chocolate. Build me that app and I'll send you my sea salt caramels as a reward.
